What is «El sendero del Ser»?
Every change in the world begins with an inner transformation.
More than a teacher training, this is an invitation to self-study, presence and conscious leadership. Over seven months you will build a solid practice, go deeper into the philosophy of yoga, learn to teach with confidence and authenticity, and discover how to take yoga beyond the mat and integrate it into your life.
We believe a great teacher is not born from memorising postures, but from having walked their own path of transformation first. A path that lets you integrate yoga in all of its dimensions — physical, mental, energetic and spiritual — and then share it from experience.

An experience that goes beyond learning
This training is also an opportunity to give yourself time and space. Each meeting is an invitation to pause, breathe, observe yourself and deepen your practice. A safe space where you will learn to know yourself better, understand your own processes and discover yoga through direct experience, while expanding your limits and cultivating a conscious practice.
You will be part of a community that shares the same purpose and the same wish to keep growing. Because you will not only learn to teach yoga; you will also discover a new way of relating to yourself, to others and to life.
What the training brings together
We do not believe teaching yoga is only about learning anatomy or memorising sequences. We believe a good teacher teaches from their own experience and from the way they live yoga. That is why we created a training that brings together:
- Asana practice and building a personal practice
- Anatomy, biomechanics and conscious movement
- The philosophy and tradition of yoga
- Pranayama, meditation and concentration techniques
- Methodology, pedagogy and teaching tools
- Voice, language and the skills to guide a class
- Self-study and personal development
- Community, collaboration and collective growth
One of the pillars of this training is the integration of the Yoga Therapy approach. You will learn to observe the body and movement in an individualised way, understanding how to adapt the tools of yoga to each person's physical, emotional and energetic needs.
This approach widens the way you teach and gives you resources to create safe, inclusive classes adapted to different realities and needs. We understand the teacher as someone who accompanies and facilitates processes: it is not only about guiding a class, but about knowing how to listen, observe and respond with judgement, care and professionalism.
Meet the people who will walk this path with you

Coco
Yoga came into my life about ten years ago and, ever since, it has become my greatest teacher.
Thanks to this practice I learned to move through moments of anxiety, uncertainty and disconnection, slowly rediscovering the calm, the confidence and the light that had always been within me. Yoga taught me to live with more presence, to listen to my intuition and to walk in connection with my soul.
I am passionate about the philosophy of yoga, about mantras and about continuous learning. Every journey, every training and every teacher is an opportunity to keep growing and going deeper into a path I consider endless.
The way I teach is deeply inspired by Yoga Therapy, understanding yoga as a tool for transformation and support. I love helping people understand the connection between the body, the breath, the nervous system and the emotional world, creating practices that adapt to each person through a conscious and compassionate lens.
Today I share yoga from the experience of having lived it first-hand, with the conviction that this practice can transform lives, just as it transformed mine.
My training: I completed four weeks of intensive 200-hour training at Yoga Vidya (Germany) in March 2020, and the Integral Yoga Therapy Course at ThaoHealth between March 2021 and May 2022. I also completed a four-week intensive 300-hour Advanced Yoga course and a Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda course at the Patanjali International Yoga school in Rishikesh, India, in January 2022.

Viki
I am Wiktoria, a yoga teacher and currently the person leading Tushala Yoga Studio, in Tenerife.
My path with yoga began in 2019, when I was still working as a fitness instructor. At first it came into my life through movement, but little by little I discovered there was much more behind the postures. Yoga began to transform the way I understood the body, the mind and life, and awoke in me the wish to know and live this practice beyond the mat.
In 2020 I completed my 200-hour training with YogaRenew and, since then, my learning has never stopped growing. I have had the chance to study in India, where I completed a 300-hour advanced training with the Himalayan Yoga Association, and to keep learning alongside teachers from different parts of the world in areas such as Rocket Yoga, Embodied Yoga and anatomy applied to movement.
My relationship with movement began long before yoga. I come from the world of dance, an experience that shaped my initial affinity for the fluidity and creativity of Vinyasa. Over time, though, I learned to find value and depth in different paths: Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative Yoga and other ways of exploring the practice.
For me, yoga has become a way of being in the world: of inhabiting the body with more attention, relating to myself with more kindness, and learning to listen to and connect with others.
Today I share this practice from Tushala and accompany other people in their own learning processes. And if there is one thing that remains clear to me after all these years, it is that yoga is not something you finish learning: it is a living practice that keeps transforming us as we live it.

Does this path feel like yours?
This training is designed for people who are curious about yoga, who want to deepen their practice and who want to explore everything it can offer beyond the physical.
This training is for you if…
You feel yoga is much more than a physical practice and you want to understand and live it from a wider perspective.
You want to deepen your personal practice, building a more conscious relationship with your body, your breath and your mind.
You want to explore the philosophy and tradition of yoga and discover how to bring its teachings into everyday life.
You want to become a yoga teacher and gain the tools to teach with confidence, judgement and a voice of your own.
You are looking for a training that combines tradition and current knowledge, bringing together anatomy, biomechanics, movement, the nervous system and the Yoga Therapy approach.
You want to learn to adapt the tools of yoga to different people and needs, developing a more individualised way of looking at the practice.
You would like to be part of a community where you can share the learning, exchange experiences and grow alongside others.
You want to discover your own way of teaching, not limiting yourself to reproducing what you were taught, but finding a voice born of your own experience.
You do not need…
You do not need an advanced level of practice, nor to have decided that you want to teach professionally.
You do not need to arrive with all the answers either. All you need is curiosity, commitment and a willingness to learn.
This training is open both to those who want to become yoga teachers and to those who feel the wish to deepen their own practice and discover new tools for living yoga on and off the mat.
What makes this training unique?
We believe that teaching also means having experienced, integrated and understood what we share. That is why we created a training that brings knowledge, practice and experience together.
Tradition and current knowledge
We integrate the philosophy and traditional teachings of yoga with current knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and the nervous system.
Living yoga before teaching it
Through Embodiment, you will experience the tools of yoga in your own body so you can teach them from understanding and experience.
An individualised approach
Integrating the Yoga Therapy approach will give you tools to observe the body, understand different needs and adapt the practice safely and respectfully.
Really learning to teach
You will build resources in methodology, pedagogy, communication and observation to create and guide classes with confidence and judgement.
Seven months to integrate
We are not trying to condense all the learning into a few weeks. The seven-month format lets you practise, study, experiment and return to the material to integrate it gradually.
Small groups and close support
Working in small groups lets us offer individual follow-up and create a space of trust where each person can develop their own process.
A community that grows with you
You will be part of a Sangha that continues beyond the in-person sessions, with spaces for support, exchange and connection between students.
A training to teach and to live
The goal is not only that you learn to lead a class, but that you find your own voice as a teacher and discover how to bring yoga into your everyday life.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous experience with yoga?
No. The training is open both to people who want to deepen their practice and to those who want to train as yoga teachers. We are not looking for a particular physical level, but for commitment, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Do I need to want to teach yoga to take this training?
No. You can take the TTC as a way of deepening your own practice and your relationship with yoga. If during or after the training you discover that you want to teach, you will have the tools and the preparation to take that step.
Which styles of yoga will I learn?
The training is mainly grounded in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga, complemented by other tools and approaches such as pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, biomechanics and Yoga Therapy. The aim is to give you a broad view that lets you understand and apply yoga from different perspectives.
What makes this training different?
Our approach combines the tradition of yoga with current knowledge about the body and movement, and pays particular attention to each student's personal experience and to developing their own tools as a teacher.
Throughout the training you will bring together philosophy, anatomy, biomechanics, teaching methodology and Yoga Therapy, while developing your own practice and experiencing teaching step by step.
Is the training certified by Yoga Alliance?
The 200-hour training is Tushala Yoga Studio's own programme, designed to follow the international standards of a 200-hour programme.
On completion you will receive the 200-hour certificate issued by Tushala Yoga Studio. We will also offer the option of the Yoga Alliance route as an additional choice, at an extra cost and subject to the school's corresponding approval.
Which language is the training taught in?
The training is taught mainly in Spanish. Some traditional terms and concepts will also be worked with in Sanskrit, and we will use English terminology where it is standard in the international language of yoga.
What happens if I cannot attend a module?
We understand that unexpected things come up. If you cannot attend one of the meetings, we will look at your situation individually and find the best way for you to catch up on the material.
To receive the certificate you will need to meet the minimum attendance hours set by the training.
Is accommodation available?
We do not offer accommodation, but we will be glad to recommend options near the studio for those travelling from other islands or from outside Tenerife.
How many people will there be in each group?
We work with a small group of no more than 12 people, so we can offer close support, individual follow-up and a more personal learning space.
Will I receive study material?
Yes. Every student receives a complete training manual and supporting material to accompany their study and practice throughout the seven months.
What is a training weekend like?
Each meeting combines different areas of the programme: asana practice, pranayama and meditation, anatomy and biomechanics, philosophy, teaching methodology, Yoga Therapy and integration work.
The meetings are designed so that the learning does not stay in theory alone, but so that you can experience, practise and integrate the material.
Will I have teaching experience before the training ends?
Yes. Throughout the programme you will have several opportunities to practise teaching, receive feedback from the teachers and from your peers, and gradually build the tools you need to guide a class with confidence.

Every path begins with a first step
A few years ago, we were in that same place: feeling the wish to go deeper, to learn more and to discover everything yoga could bring to our lives.
Over time, that search led us to study, practise, travel, train and, above all, to experience yoga from different perspectives. Today we want to share part of everything we have learned with you.
Over these seven months you will deepen your practice, study the philosophy and tradition of yoga, understand the body and movement better, and learn to use these tools to teach safely and adapt to different people. Above all, though, you will have time to bring all that knowledge into your own experience, put it into practice and discover what living and sharing yoga means to you.
We want to offer you a space to learn, practise, ask, get it wrong, discover and grow alongside other people who share the same curiosity. A process that goes beyond earning a certificate: a solid foundation for continuing to develop your practice and your way of teaching.

If this path resonates with you, we would be delighted to walk it by your side.
