Wiktoria Skokowska

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher in Puerto de la Cruz.

Wiktoria in the shala of Puerto de la Cruz.

She has always been connected to movement practices, starting with dance at the National Ballet School of Poland, where she attended classes for 6 years.

After finishing her compulsory studies, she decided to try several training methods. She obtained her personal trainer license and began working in hotels in Greece and Spain, creating fitness activity programs and leading a wide variety of classes.

Yoga entered her life as an additional suggestion for her fitness sessions and soon became a passion. Thus, she began to delve into this practice, eventually falling completely in love with it.

Her first YTT-200h course was completed at the beginning of 2021 at the Yoga Renew school. In Yoga, she found something much deeper than in other movement disciplines. In some way, the practice began to transform not only her body but also her mind, opening doors to her personal growth.

I used to train to the extreme and always with the goal of losing weight. From the beginning, Yoga taught me how to love and treat my body with respect. I started to move more consciously, listening to my body and attending to its needs, giving myself moments of stillness that allowed me to observe my state and regulate myself more efficiently.

Yoga is her greatest passion, but it is also her lifestyle. She never stops looking for ways to learn more, not only through her daily practice but also by participating in yoga workshops and courses on movement and anatomy.

In the summer of 2024, she traveled to India to undertake an advanced 300-hour course and learn from teachers who continue the yoga tradition in the place where this practice originated.

Today, she is dedicated to exploring intuitive movement, encouraging those who practice with her to experiment and connect with their inner wisdom to find a conscious, enjoyable, and beneficial way of moving. With this approach, she creates her Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga classes, as well as events that combine Yoga and Dance.
